Our New Challenge In Life

We never know when life will give you a new challenge.  About a month ago my husband was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer.  This is a scary thing for us to try to digest, a lot of thoughts go through your mind.  We know we must face this head on, and not let it get the best of us.  We are in this together, and we will fight this together.  Thursday he gets his first radiation treatment, and Friday it is both Chemo and radiation.  I know he is going to be very sick, this is a very aggressive treatment, but we will be there for one another and we will not give up no matter how bleak things get.  So, dear family if we seem distant or not in tune, please forgive us because our focus is on one thing and that is getting daddy better.  It is going to be a long old haul, but together we will win the battle.  We may be old but we are not done yet.  God be with us.

To Blog Again?

I haven't blogged for over a year and have had a heck of a time getting into my old blog. So I am just taking a quick minute to see if I have accomplished anything. I hope so, this is so frustrating. Hopefully I will remember with user name goes with which password, getting old you know and sometimes it doesn't even help to write things down. Sometime you forget where you wrote it, oh well let see if this worked, if so it may be back to blogging.
